🚨IGM SUMMER '26🚨

We're pleased to announce #IGMSummer will be in the Royal Marine Hotel for our second and last event of 2026. Taking place over the course of two days!

📅 11th & 12th July 2026 📅

We want to thank all of our attendees and vendors for their continued support and feedback.

IGM has evolved tremendously over the years and now caters to a wide range of interests for attendees. Whether it's families looking for a fun day out, retro game collectors searching through a variety of vendors, or cosplayers meeting friends, having fun and taking part in a vibrant cosplay masquerade, as well as so many others! IGM offers something for everyone.

That being said we will be :

1️⃣ On the hunt for more retro video game, console and accessory sellers, whether just starting their shop or being a well established name in the community. Feel free to reach out to us and ask any and all questions you have about vending.

2️⃣ Reviewing our cosplay masquerade formatting both on and off stage. The goal of the cosplay masquerade was always to showcase the passion of the community and of course to have fun, we'll be making some changes for our summer event, stay tuned for more updates.

Introducing your IGM Spring 2026 Cosplay Masquerade Judges! 🥁

Komaatchi 🎭

A familiar face in the IGM cosplay community, Komaatchi returns to the judging panel after previously judging at IGM Summer 2025. Known for their love of sewing and dedication to the craft, they’ve also hosted popular panels at past IGM events and took home Best Craftsmanship for their stunning Celeste (Animal Crossing) cosplay at a previous event. Their passion for helping newcomers and sharing knowledge makes them a true inspiration to cosplayers of all levels.

Vvelium 🧵

A long-time IGM attendee and IGM Summer 2025 competition winner, Vvelium is known for his passion for cosplay and fully handmade-from-scratch builds. From sewing to experimenting with advanced materials and techniques, his work blends craftsmanship with performance. Many will also recognise him from his energetic competition entries featuring lip-sync, dance, and choreography across IGM and other conventions.

ImmaPinkBubble 💖

With over 10 years in the cosplay community, ImmaPinkBubble brings a fresh perspective to the judging panel. While she jokes about specialising in procrastination, she’s spent countless hours studying cosplay tutorials and learning about the crafting process behind the scenes. Having judged smaller conventions across the south-west of Ireland and appeared in the cosplay showcase at Smite World Championship X (SWCX) in Texas, she brings enthusiasm, curiosity, and a genuine love of learning how cosplays come together.

✨ Pre-judging will take place on Sunday at 12pm. This relaxed session allows masquerade entrants to show off their costume details up close and share their creative process directly with the judges. Participation in pre-judging is optional, and full details have been shared with entrants already.

We’re excited to announce that Riot Games, the developers behind 2XKO, are officially partnering with us for the 2XKO tournament at IGM Spring Showdown!

Thanks to Riot’s Grassroots EU tournament support initiative, the 2XKO tournament will be played on equipment supplied directly by Riot Games.

Riot representatives will also be joining us on-site, watching the action as players battle it out and sharing exclusive goodies including 2XKO merch. And for fans of Arcane, there will also be items featuring Jinx, Vi, and Ekko. Merch is limited so it is first come, first served.

What is Quiet Time?
A dedicated period designed to support attendees who may find busy, loud environments overwhelming.

Please note : If you require a carer pass, please email us and we'll be happy to assist.

🕰️ Quiet Time will run from 10AM to 11AM on Sunday, April 5th, the first 90 minutes of the day.

During this time, we’ll be making a few thoughtful adjustments to create a calmer space:
✅ No loud music, stage activity, or announcements
✅ Dimmed lighting across key areas
✅ A reminder to photographers: please refrain from flash photography indoors during this time.

This initiative is all about making IGM more welcoming, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone, especially those who benefit from a quieter environment to explore the event at their own pace 💙
